Travel Blog Website Design for Just a Taste of Travel

Explore Freely. Savor Deeply. Live Fully.

Just a Taste of Travel is the travel and food publication of Austin Burgess, a traveler and storyteller writing bite-sized destination guides and longer-form stories for people who want to explore somewhere properly rather than tick it off a list.

The writing runs across three threads: travel guides and destination stories, the food that defines a place, and honest reviews of what is worth the trip.

Custom Website Design and Build

Roundbox Creative designed and built the WordPress website for Just a Taste of Travel.

A travel publication lives or dies on its photography, so the build gets out of the way of it: generous imagery, a clean editorial rhythm, and a category structure that lets a reader arrive on one destination story and keep going rather than bounce. Food, Reviews and Travel each get their own landing surface instead of being buried in a single undifferentiated feed.

The site also carries a newsletter signup and an Instagram connection, because for an independent publisher the audience they own matters more than the traffic they rent.
